Gilroy Eigleberry Neighborhood Association

Residents of the Gilroy Eigleberry Neighborhood Association celebrate Halloween with a cross-cultural festival. This year, the Neighborhood Association was the recipient of a $4,948 grant through Community Foundation Silicon Valley’s Neighborhood Grants program. The program provides small grants and technical assistance to help resident-based groups conduct activities that improve neighborhood conditions or quality of life. The Gilroy Eigleberry Neighborhood Association also received this year’s Elizabeth Anabo BRICC (Building Resourceful Inspirational Creative Community) award, given annually to an exemplary neighborhood organization. The award is named after the late CFSV staff member Elizabeth Anabo in honor of her commitment to building a better community by bringing residents of Silicon Valley’s diverse neighborhoods together.
