Collective Roots Garden Project

Fourth grade students from East Palo Alto Charter School learn about organic gardening with the help of the Collective Roots Garden Project. Through student participation, environmental science and nutrition lessons are literally brought to life. This year, Collective Roots was the recipient of a $25,000 grant through a partnership between Community Foundation Silicon Valley’s environmental field-of-interest-funds and the Silicon Valley Social Venture Fund (SV2).
