D. LEA RAUSCHER
STOCK GIFTS AND PROJECT FUNDING ASSOCIATE
Lea Rauscher is a member of Silicon Valley Community Foundation’s grants and gifts administration department and is primarily responsible for processing stock donations, transactions and incoming grants. She also works with the development and donor engagement departments regarding gift receipts and communication with donors.
Lea graduated from San José State University with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and a minor in cybernetics. She also holds a certificate of entrepreneurship from West Valley College. After graduation she worked for a national bookstore chain were she managed their largest store on the west coast and was subsequently promoted to district manager. During her tenure she earned two Best Gross Profit awards. She also worked as a cash and credit control specialist for a local moving company and as an independent business consultant for a web design and management start-up.
A San José native, Lea volunteers as a blanketeer for Project Linus and an election officer for Santa Clara County. She enjoys haunting bookstores, reading, knitting, music and movies as well as cooking for and entertaining family and friends with her husband, Ron. But her favorite pastime is spoiling her grandchildren, Ethan, Aidan and Kayla. |
