DAVID RUSSO
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO THE CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

David is the executive assistant supporting the chief financial officer. 

Prior to the community foundation, David worked as general manager of several gourmet food retailers.  He oversaw the operations and education of staff persons and was an advocate of the slow food movement. David began his professional life as an administrator and assistant accountant. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from San José State University, focusing on western humanities in 1997. 

In his spare time David enjoys entertaining, wine tasting, civil rights advocacy and family. David is a fourth generation Californian, born and raised in Monterey.  He currently lives in San José.
