Heather Saito Lastra
Events Coordinator

As the events coordinator, Heather’s primary responsibility is to take the lead in planning and executing all events within the donor engagement department and giving division.  She also serves as philanthropy manager for a number of donor-advised funds. 

Heather began her community foundation career as the administrative assistant at the Center for Venture Philanthropy in 2004, where she perfected the fine art of juggling many different jobs. 

Prior to joining the community foundation, Heather worked at Evergreen Valley College as a schedule and catalog technician and at Sun Microsystems, where she served as a sales administrator. 

A Bay Area native, Heather enjoys spending her free time with her husband, Joey, her children, Dylan and Jade, and her very large extended family, most of whom reside in the Bay Area. She also enjoys shopping, dancing with friends, taking in the latest kids’ movie in the local theaters, or a drive up the coast for a fabulous meal.
