JOHN STUCKEY
VICE PRESIDENT, FINANCE/CONTROLLER

As vice president of finance/controller, John is responsible for oversight and accuracy of Silicon Valley Community Foundation’s daily financial transactions and financial reporting. He reports to the chief financial officer.

John served as senior director of finance and administration for The Tech Museum of Innovation before joining the community foundation. Prior to that, he served as chief financial officer of Montalvo Arts Center. John began his nonprofit career at the Mexican Heritage Corp., where he held the position of controller and director of operations. Before entering the nonprofit environment, John spent more than 25 years in corporate finance and technical services management positions with Xerox Corp.

John holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Fresno State University. A native of Seattle and Sunnyvale resident, John has lived in the Bay Area since 1981. He has two grown children. In his leisure time, John enjoys spending weekends at Pajaro Dunes, woodworking and visiting with his grandchildren.
