Korene Mangelsen
RECORDS MAINTENANCE ASSOCIATE

As records maintenance associate, Korene is responsible for maintaining all community  foundation-related records.

In 1999, after graduating from San Francisco State University with a degree in sociology, Korene began her new career path in the nonprofit sector.  Joining Peninsula Community Foundation in 2001, she served as the administrative assistant to the vice president of community programs.

A third-generation San Mateo County native, Korene is very much at home on the Peninsula.  In her spare time, she enjoys hiking the many wonderful trails in the Bay Area or watching a great movie with her three significant others - two cats and a dog.
