LOUISE M. BRYAN
GRANTS ADMINISTRATION OFFICER
Louise oversees grants administration for the grants and gifts administration department, which is within the finance division of the community foundation. Louise works with the grants associates to process all advised, corporate, competitive and international grants as well as all scholarships and to ensure that grantees receive their funding in a timely manner.
While at Peninsula Community Foundation, Louise served as the coordinator of the finance department and the chief financial officer’s associate. As department coordinator, she managed the stock gift process and worked closely with all departments and the community foundation’s investment committee.
Prior to joining the community foundation world, Louise worked in commercial real estate, where she has more than fourteen years of management, administrative and finance experience. Louise used her real estate experience most recently in assisting in the identification of the first headquarters for the new community foundation and negotiating the lease for the property.
Louise graduated cum laude from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, with a Bachelor of Arts in english. She grew up in Boston, is a big sports fan, and has had the pleasure of watching the Bruins, Celtics, Patriots and Boston Red Sox win world championships. Louise is a dog trainer who spends her weekends training and showing her three golden retrievers in obedience and field events throughout Northern California.
