ORIS C. MILLER
VICE PRESIDENT, INFORMATION SYSTEMS

As vice president of information systems for Silicon Valley Community Foundation, Oris oversees all aspects of the community foundation's information systems and technology. With more than 20 years experience in IS/IT, Oris provides technology vision, leadership and direction in support of the community foundation's grantmaking, finance, development, community leadership and business operations.

Oris earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, San Diego in economics and applied science, and a Master of Arts in environmental studies from The Evergreen State College, Olympia, Washington. Prior to joining the community foundation, Oris served for nine years as the director of information services for The Trust for Public Land at its national headquarters in San Francisco.

Oris, who moved from Southern California to the Bay Area more than 10 years ago, resides in Redwood City with his wife, Kerry. In his leisure time he enjoys a variety of activities including travel, reading, surfing, scuba diving, golf and cycling.
