PEGGY PACKARD
Headquarters Receptionist

As headquarters receptionist, Peggy is responsible for meeting and greeting community foundation guests, triaging telephone calls, scheduling conference rooms for nonprofits and community organizations and maintaining the lobby and surrounding area. She is also the main point of contact for vendors, couriers and mail service.

Prior to joining Silicon Valley Community Foundation, Peggy was a clinic co-coordinator in the plastic surgery department at the University California San Francisco. Her interest in plastic surgery came when she was previously employed at Children’s Hospital at Indiana University, where she co-coordinated the clinic for children born with craniofacial anomalies.

In her free time, Peggy enjoys the outdoors and usually heads to the delta for boating and water sports. She also has a particular fondness for Yosemite National Park and has stayed in most the high sierra camps and hiked many of the John Muir trails.
