Tuly Martinez
GRANTMAKING ASSOCIATE

As grantmaking associate, Tuly supports Silicon Valley Community Foundation program officers by facilitating all aspects of the grantmaking program.

Tuly joined Peninsula Community Foundation in 2006 as program associate and assisted the Community Programs department, was lead associate for the Neighborhood Grants Program and managed the day-to-day operations of the Peninsula Nonprofit Center. 

Tuly’s work in the private sector as well as a one-year public relations internship at the American Red Cross, San Francisco, sparked her interest in philanthropy.  While at Andrews Air Corp., she coordinated donations for the Red Cross and for those affected by the hurricanes in El Salvador. 

Tuly is a bilingual, first generation immigrant and has been a resident of the Peninsula for more than 16 years. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in mass communications from California State University at Hayward.
