TARYN ISHIDA
DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE

Taryn Ishida works closely with the Director of Planned Giving to support all activities related to real estate and planned gifts. She joined the Steven and Michele Kirsch Foundation in 2005, a supporting organization of Community Foundation Silicon Valley, and later supported Peter Hero as assistant to the president of CFSV.

Prior to joining the community foundation, Taryn worked at eBay, Inc. as a corporate counsel assistant.

Taryn received her bachelor’s degree in sociology from Pepperdine University, where she graduated magna cum laude.

She stays connected to the community by volunteering with a variety of organizations including Californians for Justice, Asian Americans for Community Involvement, and the South Bay Labor Council. She is also a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Silicon Valley Chapter. A native of Hawaii, Taryn relocated to the Bay Area to be closer to her sisters and the Oakland Athletics.
