JANE H. WILLIAMS

Jane Williams has over 30 years of experience in the investment field and is the co-founder of Sand Hill Advisors. She leads the management of client assets and provides specialized advisory services to professionals and individual clients at times of major financial transition such as retirement, divorce or the receipt of significant, new liquidity. Prior to co-founding Sand Hill Advisors, Jane was with Merrill Lynch as a registered representative. When she joined the firm in 1974, Jane was the first woman hired in a professional role with the Merrill Lynch system in Ottawa, Canada. Previously, she served as an economist with the Economic Council of Canada, where she co-authored a book on banking innovation.

Jane holds a degree in economics from Boston University, where she was selected as a member of the Economics Honor society. Jane served on the board the Peninsula Community Foundation and as chair of the investment committee from 2002 to 2006. Jane is a senior fellow of the American Leadership Forum and a member of the investment committee of the Board of Avenidas. Jane has been named among the 100 most influential business women in the Bay Area.
