Corporate Services

From start-ups, to global corporations, to family-owned businesses, Silicon Valley Community Foundation offers an array of services to facilitate and manage corporate philanthropy. Our corporate partners have found that the administrative help, charitable expertise and flexibility offered by the community foundation are much more efficient than setting up a private corporate foundation. With the foundation managing the processing, our corporate fundholders can focus on helping their employees and improving their communities.

Private Foundation Services

Local private foundations come to Silicon Valley Community Foundation for an array of philanthropic services. We often partner with private foundations on community initiatives, grantmaking programs and research. In some cases, the administrative burden and other challenges of managing a private foundation can take away from the ability to focus on making a difference and the community foundation can provide charitable alternatives. Whatever the situation, we offer a range of options and services for private foundations seeking to heighten the impact of their philanthropy.

Private foundations may also choose to participate in an array of services, educational opportunities and special funds available through the foundation, including Philanthropy Incubator Silicon Valley, the Center for Venture Philanthropy or SV2 – Silicon Valley Social Venture Fund.

Nonprofit Services

Silicon Valley Community Foundation partners with nonprofits that are providing innovative solutions to serve and strengthen our region. One way we do this is through nonprofit endowment funds that help to ensure the future of your organization and its ability to continue meeting the needs of current and future generations.
