Director of Strategic Partnerships, Raising A Reader

As director of strategic partnerships, Angie is responsible for securing the support of foundations, corporations and strategic partners for Raising a Reader. Angie leads efforts to identify and cultivate potential affiliates through agencies spanning multiple regions while leading the development of innovative partnerships to advance Raising A Reader’s mission.

Angie has more than eight years of experience in community investment, with a personal and professional passion for social change. Prior to joining Raising A Reader, Angie served as the director of engagement at Link Media and director of strategic partnerships at YouthNoise, Inc. In these previous positions, Angie was focused on youth engagement and scaling the creative ways that young people were using to address the world’s most pressing social issues.

Angie earned a degree in women’s studies from the University of Colorado, Boulder and a master’s in public administration at San Francisco State University. An Idaho native, Angie now spends her time exploring the hiking trails, arts and outdoor festivals that California has to offer.
