Anne F. Macdonald

Anne has more than 27 years experience in public accounting and is currently a partner at Frank, Rimerman & Co in Palo Alto, where she advises high net-worth individuals and their families, non-profit organizations, public and pre-IPO companies, and others. She specializes in proactive planning to minimize income, gift and estate tax for high net worth individuals and their families and provides stock option and qualified small business stock planning. She has extensive experience in estate planning and advises non-profit organizations in tax compliance and planning matters as well as advises real estate entities regarding entity formations, sales, like-kind exchanges and other tax matters. Her clients include CEO’s and officers of public and pre-IPO companies, venture capitalists, real estate developers and owners and other entrepreneurs.
Anne is a member of the American Institute of CPA's and the California Society of CPA's. She holds the 1995 Distinguished Alumnae Award from Castilleja School. Anne also served as a trustee of Castilleja School from 1995-2001 and served as Chair of Planned Giving from 2004 – 2010. Anne graduated from University of Oregon with a degree in Business Administration and has a Masters in Taxation from Golden Gate University.
