How to Apply

To apply for Community Foundation Managed scholarships download and complete the appropriate application form and instructions and submit along with the following documents:

• Personal Statement / Essay
• Letters of Reference
• Academic Transcripts
• Financial Statements (SAR OR tax returns OR equivalent)
• Additional required attachments, refer to each scholarship description

Please be sure to complete all sections of each application, do not leave sections blank, provide all required attachments and include sufficient postage on all mailings. Date of postmark, faxed or emailed applications or attachments will not be considered. The community foundation recommends that you send your application and all of the required documents in one envelope.

In order for applications to be considered, all of the forms and attachments must be received by Silicon Valley Community Foundation by the deadline noted on the application. Please do not bind or staple materials.
