Nivisha Mehta

As a corporate philanthropy manager, Nivisha works closely with corporations to meet their philanthropic missions -- providing research, strategic and tactical planning, evaluation and grantmaking services.
Nivisha has a degree in Marketing from Santa Clara University and a Certificate in Fund Raising Management from The Center of Philanthropy at Indiana State University.
Previously, she worked as Development Director for Alum Rock Counseling Center serving at-risk youth with mentoring and counseling in East San Jose. During her 12 years of development, grant writing and fundraising with Bay Area non profit organizations, Nivisha established the world’s first South Asian Heart Center at El Camino Hospital.
Currently, Nivisha serves on the Board of Directors for the Association of Fundraising Professionals and is currently the chair of National Philanthropy Day for Nov. 18th, 2011. She also serves on the Community Advisory Board for El Camino Hospital.
