Providing Direct Assistance
for Professional Advisors
As the busy year-end approaches, Silicon Valley Community Foundation strives to be even more responsive to the increased needs of professional advisors. We want to be exceptionally helpful when it comes to answering your questions and providing you with tools and resources for you and your clients.
Development Assistant David Eckmann is one of the community foundation’s more knowledgeable and informed resources. He understands the services we provide, our gift acceptance policy and funds we offer. David is a fast, helpful and friendly source of information for you and your first point of contact within the development team.
When you have questions for our development team related to your clients’ tax and estate planning matters, David can help you navigate this group. He can also refer you to other staff and resources within community foundation to ensure you have the answers you need related to charitable giving.
David graduated magna cum laude from Santa Clara University with a degree in political science and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa national honor society. His interest in American politics and government led him to an internship in the Washington D.C. office of Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren and later to an internship in the Santa Clara County Office of Affordable Housing. David soon realized that his true passion was to work in the nonprofit sector, where he could make a genuine impact on the community.
We have established a professional advisors’ hotline to be most responsive to your inquiries. You can reach David and other members of the development team by calling the Professional Advisor Hotline at 650.450.5517 or by sending an email to donate@siliconvalleycf.org. David and his colleagues look forward to hearing from you.
