ESTABLISH A PERMANENT LEGACY: Every year, the foundation makes grants to the best local nonprofit organizations in the names of generous citizens who have established named endowment funds with Silicon Valley Community Foundation. These funds support the foundation’s Community Endowment Fund, a permanent charitable resource for the region. The income earned from endowment funds provides the "venture capital" for long-term solutions to the challenges our community faces now and in the future. Endowment funds of $50,000 or more may be named by the donor and may carry the donor's name, establishing a permanent legacy.
