WE'VE MOVED FAQ'S

August has been a busy month at Silicon Valley Community Foundation.  Now that our boxes are unpacked and we are settling in to our sparkling new facilities, we are making plans to host you at some upcoming open house events.

In the meantime, below are some answers to a few common questions. If you have additional questions, feel free to email them to info@siliconvalleycf.org.

What is the new address?
Our physical and mailing addresses are the same: 2440 West El Camino Real, Suite 300, Mountain View, California 94040-1498.

Have email addresses changed?
Email addresses have not changed. You can continue to use the same email that has been in place since the beginning of the year.  If you don’t have the email address you need, please visit our staff page.

How do I contact a staff person?
The fastest way is either by phone or email.  Since all staff have new phone numbers, feel free to call the main number at 650.450.5400 and the receptionist will assist you.  We’re happy to hear from you directly.  Also, when you receive email from a staff member, check the email signature at the bottom for the staff member’s new direct line.

Why are there still satellite offices?
The satellite offices located in San Mateo and San José will help us keep a valuable presence in our region and will be used for free, community meeting space.  Additionally, several of our supporting and affiliate organizations will maintain offices in the satellite locations. However, we will no longer have satellite offices in Palo Alto or Menlo Park.

When can I visit the new headquarters?
We are planning a series of open house events for community members and other friends this fall.  Each open house will offer opportunities to tour the facilities, meet with staff and network with others who share your commitment to our community.  Stay tuned! Invitations are forthcoming.

How can I find a map and directions?
The community foundation’s new headquarters is conveniently located off of Interstate 280 and Highway 101. No matter what part of the region you may be driving from, you can find directions here. You are also welcome to call us and we are happy to direct you.
