Director, Consulting and Management Services
As the director of consulting and management services, Ashley is responsible for supporting our current donors and other philanthropists to develop a thoughtful approach to their giving while strengthening their impact through services beyond our standard fund offerings. She collaborates with our team to deliver on services that may include a strategy redesign for corporate clients, the development of a philanthropic roadmap and budget for an individual donor or the administration of a nonprofit’s back office, and much more.
Before joining SVCF, Ashley was a founding team member of New Schools for Baton Rouge, a nonprofit catalyzing the transformation of low-performing schools across Baton Rouge. As the development lead, she spearheaded the organizations efforts to raise a $30 million fund. During her time in Louisiana, Ashley also co-founded The Futures Fund to teach youth from low-income communities computer coding, photography, and graphic design skills.
Prior to this, Ashley served as co-founder of Derrell Talent, a boutique education technology company supporting the career development of high-potential educators of color. Ashley began her career in education as an elementary school teacher in New Orleans through Teach For America.
