Silicon Valley Community Foundation and Northern California Grantmakers are pleased to invite corporate social responsibility practitioners to Corporate Philanthropy Institute (CPI) 2016 – Be Courageous! This full-day conference is designed to engage CSR practitioners and social entrepreneurs from various industries in thought-provoking, inspiring and action-focused discussion.
More than ever before, companies are taking courageous steps to positively impact communities around the world, addressing complicated and controversial issues ranging from human trafficking to climate change. Our evolving world also requires companies to engage with nongovernmental organizations, employees and civil society in new ways – through philanthropy and other business integration efforts. This conference will explore how companies and corporate responsibility professionals are demonstrating courage through their work, where this dynamic field is headed and which skills practitioners need in order to thrive.
Please mark your calendar for December 1, 2016, at the Sofitel in Redwood City. Register now! Please note: This event is for funders and CSR professionals only. All NCG members and SVCF partners will be verified to confirm registration.
This year’s CPI will be followed by an awards reception – the Corporate Responsibility Impact Awards, presented by SVCF. This event will celebrate and honor five companies and individuals who demonstrate outstanding leadership in corporate responsibility. Nominations will be accepted online June 15 through July 31.
