Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Silicon Valley Community Foundation’s Mountain View headquarters and San Mateo Conference Center remain closed as of February 2022. Our work with grantees, donors and other partners is essential and we continue to conduct business from remote locations.

July 2021: SVCF has recently learned that scam artists have been contacting consumers with communications in which they falsely represent themselves as being from SVCF and solicit people to send them money after cashing fake checks. SVCF does not and would not ever solicit consumers in this manner. SVCF has reported this fraudulent activity to law enforcement and to our banking institutions.
