Vice President, Strategy and Board Affairs
As vice president of strategy and board affairs, Gihani supports strategy development and implementation efforts across SVCF, in addition to managing board engagement activities.
Prior to joining SVCF in January 2022, Gihani was part of the leadership team at Playworks, a national network that focuses on play to help kids stay active and build life skills. Before that, she worked for The Bridgespan Group, a leading social impact consultancy. Gihani started her career in public finance investment banking and has also consulted for the World Bank.
Gihani serves as a program advisor for Reading Partners, an advisory board member of Niroga Institute and a parent representative on the diversity, equity and inclusion steering committee at her son's school in the Oakland Unified School District. She holds a B.A. from Stanford University with a major in economics, as well as an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
