Helping Victims of Hurricane Harvey in Texas

Hurricane Harvey

Californians Helping Texans - Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund

Dear Prospective Donor,

As the Mayors of California's largest cities, we offer our thoughts, prayers, and support to all Texans affected by the devastation of Hurricane Harvey. We've confronted natural disasters in our own cities, and have become too familiar with the pain our communities have suffered, and with the collective determination required to rebuild.

Countless Californians have asked the same question: what can we do to help? We have launched the Californians Helping Texans – Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund (#CA4TX) to accept tax deductible donations for victims that have been affected by the recent floods. Funds will be directed towards relief and recovery services, as determined through collaboration with the Greater Houston Community Foundation.

We stand in solidarity with the people of Texas and encourage all Californians to support the relief effort in any way they can.

Let's demonstrate our Californian brand of generosity, compassion, and support. In our darkest moments, the resilience and unity of the American people shines brightest. When we stand together, we can overcome our most daunting challenges.

GHCF Employee Disaster Relief Fund

Greater Houston Community Foundation

On behalf of the Greater Houston Community Foundation, SVCF has established and will be administering a charitable fund to provide relief for the hard-working employees of GHCF who have been affected by Hurricane Harvey.

These nonprofit employees have worked selflessly to ensure their community continues to recover.  But, like so many others, they have also suffered tremendous personal losses.  Your help is greatly appreciated.
