Associate, Donor Services
As a member of the Donor Engagement team, Jhoana builds internal and external partnerships to support a portfolio of individual and institutional donors. She views her work from a social justice lens, prioritizes inclusivity, and values relationship-building to reach common goals.
Jhoana is a UC Davis graduate, with BAs in International Relations and Sociology. She earned her Master of Arts in Sustainable International Development, with a focus on Coexistence and Conflict, from the Heller School at Brandeis University. She brings a variety of experience to the foundation, having served as a Community Health Advisor with Peace Corps Malawi and Grassroot Soccer, where she focused on empowering youth and girls. More recently, she held a position with the Social Security Administration in San Francisco.
Bay Area-raised, Jhoana is a proud first-generation Filipina immigrant.
