Senior Vice President, Donor Engagement
Kimberly Myers Hewlett joined the foundation in November 2019. As Senior Vice President of Donor Engagement, Kimberly leads the team that helps SVCF’s donors make an impact on the social issues they care most about through their philanthropy. She comes to SVCF from Stanford University, where she most recently served as senior associate director of corporate and foundation relations for Stanford Medical Center.
There, she built relationships with a portfolio of 150 foundations and corporate donors. Earlier positions at Stanford include work as a project manager for major gifts to the medical center, and director of alumni relations for the Office of Medical Development. Prior to her time at Stanford, Kimberly worked in foundation and corporate advising for Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors’ office in Los Angeles.
Kimberly received a bachelor’s degree from Stanford in economics and earned an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. She is a member of the board of visitors for the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. She is president of the Myers Family Foundation, and a board member of the Flora Family Foundation. Kimberly serves as board chair for the National Center for Family Philanthropy. She is also vice chair of the board of Seacology, an Oakland-based nonprofit focused on environmental protection of island communities around the world.
