Senior Vice President, Donor Engagement
Kimberly Myers Hewlett joined the foundation in November 2019. As Senior Vice President of Donor Engagement, Kimberly leads the team that helps SVCF’s donors make an impact on the social issues they care most about through their philanthropy. She comes to SVCF from Stanford University, where she most recently served as associate director of corporate and foundation relations for Stanford Medical Center.
There, she built relationships with a portfolio of 150 foundations and corporate donors. Earlier positions at Stanford include work as a project manager for major gifts to the medical center, and director of alumni relations for the Office of Medical Development. Prior to her time at Stanford, Kimberly worked in foundation and corporate advising for Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors’ office in Los Angeles.
Kimberly received a bachelor’s degree from Stanford in economics and earned an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. She is a board member of the Myers Family Foundation, a family council member of the Flora Family Foundation, and an advisor to the National Center for Family Philanthropy. She is also vice president of the board of Seacology, an Oakland-based nonprofit focused on environmental protection of island communities around the world.
