Director, Philanthropic Entrepreneurship
As director of philanthropic entrepreneurship, Lisa works with philanthropists to deploy complex assets for philanthropic good through a variety of charitable vehicles. Working with the most entrepreneurial of donors, Lisa assists with donations of unique assets such as pre-IPO stock, business interests and cryptocurrency.
Lisa travels across the country to share SVCF’s unique approach with individuals, families and corporations. She is also SVCF’s internal coordinator for back-office services offered to foundations, universities and other nonprofit organizations.
Prior to joining SVCF in 2014, Lisa served as executive director of Boston’s Longwood Symphony Orchestra. She has also worked as a fundraiser and executive director in arts organizations in Boston, Pittsburgh, Spokane, Grand Rapids and Aspen. Lisa has served on the boards of the Silicon Valley Planned Giving Council, the Brookline Arts Center and the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network’s Boston chapter.
Lisa holds an M.B.A. from Boston University, as well as a Bachelor of Music from Vanderbilt University where she also studied organizational development.
As a certified BodyPump instructor, Lisa has taught group fitness classes and is an avid runner and yogi. She and her husband reside in Redwood City.
