Director, Donor Services, Grants
As a Director of Donor Services, Marla oversees domestic grants administration including conducting due diligence, processing complex grants and execution of grant agreements. She manages the team's workflow and priorities to ensure timely and compliant payments.
Marla moved to California in 2012 from Indiana where she attended Purdue University, earning dual bachelor of art degrees in psychology and anthropology, and a master's of science in anthropology. After working for many years in customer service and banking, she took on an internship in Indianapolis developing and teaching financial literacy classes at a refugee resettlement organization. Soon after, she relocated to the Bay Area to pursue a career in the nonprofit sector.
In her free time, Marla volunteers as an ESL teaching aide in San Jose, curates her wine collection, and is always in the middle of a home improvement project.
