Named Endowed Fund

Establish a Permanent Legacy

Every year, the foundation makes grants to the best local nonprofit organizations in the names of generous citizens who have established named endowment funds with Silicon Valley Community Foundation. These funds support the foundation's Community Endowment Fund, a permanent charitable resource for the region.

The income earned from named endowed funds provides the "venture capital" for long-term solutions to the challenges our community faces now and in the future. Endowed funds of $50,000 or more may be named by the donor and may carry the donor's name, establishing a permanent legacy. Named endowed funds may be established during your lifetime or created through an estate plan.
