Medecins Sans Frontieres - Belgium
Medecins Sans Frontieres is an indepedent international medical humanitarian organization, which provides medical assistance to populations affected by armed conflict, but also epidemics and pandemics or natural disasters. In 1971, journalists and doctors were the first to participate actively in the creation of Medecins Sans Frontieres in France. This organization of humanitarian medical aid intends to acquire more freedom of action and publicly denounce certain situations. Since its inception, it has made accomplished a number of achievements, including receiving a Nobel Peace Prize.
