We look to our communities themselves to help define the challenges and the obstacles, as well as the solutions that should drive our work to transform the region. Through our grantmaking programs, we address long-term challenges like improving financial stability for low-income residents or immediate crises like providing access to food and shelter during the pandemic.

Supporting your mission effectively, for maximum impact
SVCF leverages our resources and relationships to help create community-led solutions for the region’s biggest challenges.
Grants
SVCF’s grantmaking programs span three core impact areas—advancing financial stability, early childhood development and housing—as well as our Community Action Grants Program. All were established in response to recommendations from our community partners. Using a racial justice and equity lens, the Community Action Grants Program identifies and supports organizations that foster greater creativity and help build community and power to promote a just, equitable and inclusive Silicon Valley.
SVCF makes grants to nonprofits with a wide range of scope and vision.
