Director of Corporate Responsibility
As director of corporate responsibility at Silicon Valley Community Foundation, Rebecca manages a portfolio of corporate clients on their strategic corporate philanthropy and corporate social responsibility programs. Prior to joining SVCF, Rebecca worked for Holcim, the world’s largest cement manufacturer, as the U.S. corporate social responsibility specialist. Rebecca was responsible for taking a global CSR strategy and applying it to the U.S. Holcim operations including nine cement plants, three cement slag plants and 50 terminals. Her background and experience spans GRI reporting, communications, measurement and employee volunteerism.
In her spare time she volunteers at Ronald McDonald House and mentors 20 girls aged eight to eleven through her church. When not working or volunteering, she enjoys exploring Northern California with her family in their Volkswagen camper van.
Originally from Utah, Rebecca holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Utah State University, is GRI certified, and earned a CSR reporting professional certificate from University of California, Berkeley.
