Jakara Movement Santa Clara County To support the first mass door-to-door initiative to drive voter engagement within the Punjabi-speaking communities of San Jose, the largest South Asian community in Santa Clara County; these communities have the largest percentage of LEP speakers. $20,000
Korean American Community Services Inc Santa Clara County To support voter engagement in San Jose targeting lower turnout areas and hard to reach populations; as a trusted messenger, KACS will actively educate and engage the Korean local community members to ensure their voting rights as well as equal representation in the community. $20,000
Latinos United For A New America Santa Clara County To support the mobilization of 400 low-incomevoters, to recruit and train 20 new leaders and to hold two candidate forums on the East Side of San Jose for citizens in heavily Latino precincts that have histroically had low voter turnout. $20,000
Planned Parenthood Mar Monte Inc Santa Clara County To support voter engagement on-site at PPMM health centers and through community outreach events, by providing opportunities for PPMM patients to register to vote, encouraging patients to vote in the 2020 election and educating patients about how to become informed voters. $20,000

Vietnamese Voluntary Foundation Inc Santa Clara County To support a voter education and outreach program targeting Vietnamese-American who are living in the nince specified low turn-out precincts in District Seven, San Jose, with the goal to  improve voter registration, awareness, engagement and understanding of measure ballots, and increase turnout for elections. $25,000
