Silicon Valley Children’s Advocacy Network (SVCAN)

Silicon Valley Children’s Advocacy Network

Silicon Valley Children’s Advocacy Network (SVCAN) is a coalition of more than 50 organizations from government, education, business and nonprofit sectors in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties charged with speaking powerfully in Sacramento on behalf of local children and families.

The COVID-19 pandemic has had devastating impacts on the well-being of our young children, their families and the people and systems that provide essential early care and learning programs. The Biden administration has proposed significant investments in childcare infrastructure and stabilization and we continue to push California lawmakers to fully fund a robust, high-quality early care and learning system that works for all. This is an opportune time to “build back better” and bring together the collective advocacy voice of Silicon Valley on behalf of our young children and their caregivers. Join us today.

Sign up to join the network. Stay informed with periodic legislative updates, opportunities for advocacy and invitations to our quarterly meetings.

2022 meeting dates forthcoming, please return to this page in the coming weeks.

Zoom details and agenda will be sent out prior to each meeting
